EcoCamp

Laurel Ridge is excited to offer its second week of EcoCamp in 2010! Our 2009 EcoCamp was a wonderful success (despite the rain) and we look forward to welcoming even more EcoCampers this summer.” This camp is a
week-long nature camp that will
give junior campers a special
opportunity to explore and
experience the beautiful corner
of God’s creation that we call
Laurel Ridge.
During EcoCamp
we’ll focus on what scripture
teaches us about our place in
creation and how we care for it.
Campers will spend time outside
discovering the various
ecosystems Laurel Ridge has (did
you know there are at least
10?), learning about the history
of the land, observing plants
and animals, and much more.
Activities will include:
- getting
down and dirty
- going on bird
walks
- group storytelling
- plenty of games
- time to
enjoy all the learning,
campfires, and cabin groups that
make camp such a fun and
memorable activity!
Don’t miss
this exciting and unique
program; registration is limited
so be sure to sign up today. EcoCamp will be led by the
Reverends David Guthrie and Rick
Sides.
