If you answered “yes” to any of
these questions, then Laurel
Ridge is the place for you. We
are always looking for
volunteers in a variety of
areas; if you have a generous
heart and the willingness to
serve, then there’s something
for you to do on the mountain!
Our volunteers:
- Serve as counselors, deans,
nurses, and program leaders for
summer camps
• Lead arts and crafts, games,
or other activities for Fall
Festival and Moravian Mountain
Christmas- Write articles about Laurel
Ridge for publications
Provide office support for
mass mailings and other projects - Share the gift of music for
guests at Second Sunday Suppers
and at the Fall and Christmas
festivals
- Construct new facilities, such
as the Friends Cottage, and
improve existing ones
- Participate in Volunteer Work
Days and Work Weeks throughout
the year
- Serve as Higgins Hosts
Laurel Ridge needs volunteers
for specific events as well as
generally throughout the year;
we would love to hear from you
and have you become involved.
